Our history shapes our present and our future.
The Studying and Self-Regulated Learning (SSRL) SIG originated in the spring of 1986 with a few key members and has since evolved to include members from all over the country. As we continue to grow in numbers and advance in groundbreaking research, it is important for us to keep a log of our initiatives, awards, accomplishments, programs, and special events.
See here interviews with prominent individuals who served in key positions in the SIG many years ago, and relate SSRL history from those times.
Browse around our Quick Facts to learn more about our SSRL SIG. Know something we’re missing? Feel free to email Darolyn Flaggs or Kyle Du so that we can keep an active and updated record of our history.
