Please find here a joint special issue of Times Magazine, brought to you by the Studying and Self-Regulated Learning and the Classroom Assessment Special Interest Groups (SIGs) of the American Educational Research Association (AERA).
The special issue marks a milestone in the ongoing dialogue between two fields of study—self-regulated learning and classroom assessment—as represented by two vibrant scholarly communities. This collaboration is more than co-sponsorship: It reflects the maturation of a fusion that has been unfolding for nearly four decades (Panadero et al., 2018).
