We are pleased to present the Fall 2025 newsletter for the Studying and Self-Regulated Learning (SSRL) Special Interest Group (SIG) of the American Educational Research Association (AERA).
This newsletter showcases the exceptional research conducted by the members of our SIG related to technology and self-regulated learning. This issue highlights six studies that present cutting-edge research using multimodal and multichannel data analytics to investigate self-, co-, shared, and external-regulated learning processes across different learning contexts.
We’d like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the editors, Allyson Pitzel and Lauren Cabrera, for curating this issue. We are thrilled you are taking the time to read this issue and hope you will find the scholarly contributions valuable and insightful.
A huge thank you to our contributors for sharing your insights and new research!
