Call for Chapters (for Upcoming Book, “Digital Distractions in the College Classroom”)

Abe Flanigan, an assistant professor in the College of Education at Georgia Southern University, is co-editing a book this year titled Digital Distractions in the College Classroom. The book is being published through IGI Global. Given that self-regulation of learning is essential for overcoming the temptations created by digital distractions (e.g., mobile phones, laptops, tablets) while learning in the classroom or lecture hall, SSRL SIG folks could be great contributors to this edited book. Chapter proposals (1,000-2,000 words) are due by June 2nd. Please contact Abe Flanigan if you have any questions: aflanigan@georgiasouthern.edu
